  key Ben
as long as we remain above 1087 on a close the
SPX should still test the highs by late May
we also had april 27-29th as a top, with the next
minor bottom May 4-6. in terms of price we
had an up cycle target of 1145 for the spx by
april 27-29; actual top was 1146

heavy volume = lower lows short term, bottom by
early next week, rally into mid-May

on the NDX we exited 1/2 of our NDX longs at 1497
(last friday's close); the balance we just closed out

looking for a re-entry on contracting volume; if
1087 on the spx is closed below then the mid term
bears will be in firm control

see attached chart for minor cyle projected
  path

market should try one more high above
1163-1170 in the next few weeks before trying to
      form a larger peak

      NDX same at 1529-1545

could also be seen as soon as May
      3rd

Are you talking NYSE?  If so, then a
lot of those could be interest rate-related vehicles.  The
housing starts number this morning set a new record.  I think the
market has been behaving a bit abnormally since the last jobs report
due to the unwinding of the "carry trade" and sector rotation in
expectation of higher interest rates.  How was NH/NL on the
          NASDAQ?
