Well, I don't know, however I am very dubious. IB is a privately held
company with a huge capital base and one of the strongest balance sheets to be
found in the financial services industry. I would dare say that IB could
swallow AMTD without much difficulty but would not want to.
Ameritrade did acquire Bidwell earlier this month.
