One have to realize that  the basic rule for 
volume confirmation is  price up and vol up is good,
price up but vol low  no confirmation for the 
up move,
 
that  works well on indvidual 
stocks,
the market as a whole is  totally 
diffrent!

  a volume reversal as an extreme, even though the volume direction is 
  the same as that of the previous day? Does the same apply if volume is
