I think the great unknown is whether or not Bush can surround himself with
the right people
who understand that dire fiscal policies (lower taxes/reduced
spending/cutting some agencies)
are going to be needed to stave off the continuing deflationary economy now
that the monetary
genie is out of the bottle.  Also; will the administration then have the
backbone to carry out those
necessary policies; which may be politically painful to execute.  The left
may begin to scream like
stuffed pigs.  It would appear that he now has a mandate to do whatever is
necessary; but his administration must act with boldness.
