Universal Account at www.interactivebrokers.com is my choice hands down ...
been using it for about 6 weeks now. I can trade electronic futures and
options as well as stock futures and options in one account. I'm paying
$2.40 per side for emini, $1 to buy/sell SPX Leap Puts/Calls, $7.50 to trade
1,000 shares (proportionately less for larger orders) with no upcharge for
stop and limit orders. Funding is a bit of a PIA since they don't yet handle
ACH transfers. If you're looking for great customer service, look elsewhere,
but the service is adequate and the trading platform is great.
