Does anyone know where I can get a program for performing market
analysis?
I want to create a database of information for my own personal use
which begins to answer a multitude of questions based on my own
trading methodology. For example, what is the average length of time
of an intraday uptrend or downtrend? Then perhaps other questions
that are linked to this question like what is the average intraday
uptrend on a 4th cycle day?
Each day, I would manually input these answers into the program, but
then I would like for the program to be able to automatically
calculate the averages and/or percentages depending on the question.
I have about 50 such questions I would like to begin tracking.
I have the Microsoft Excel program, but I don't know how to set it up
to accomplish my objectives. Perhaps there is another program that
is better.
Any help would be most appreciated and I would be happy to discuss
either direct compensation or an exchange of information such as the
trading system I use for trading the stock indexes. This trading
system cost me a fortune to develop, but it is the most effective
methodology I have ever seen for daytrading.
