Howard:
What kind of Monitors do you have? and how much for the video card?
I am running Norton's anti virus and using Realtick. i am running okay.

I just had a new computer built and I'm having problems with my datafeed. I
daytrade the SPoo's. My charts are updating anywhere from 15 to 25 seconds
behind the market (all prices including e-mini and pit). I also run
Squawkbox which appears to be coming through fine. So price data is being
slowed up somewhere in my system.
I use a phone line feed from MyTrack and InvestorRT software. Typically
very fast.
My new system is a Pentium 4 1.7 ghz processor, 256mb of 800mhz ram, a 7200
speed 20 gig hard drive, Matrox dual monitor video card, Windows 2000,
Norton System Works Virus and Utility program, and a network card installed
to hook up to my old system. The only other real software I have is Office
XP.
Does anyone have any suggestions to find this bottle neck in my datafeed &
software?
