Re: [RT] PCQuote and TS2k

Hi Bob,

I have a 233MHz Pentium II with Windows 95.
I typically receive comprehensive data for 50-60 stocks at all times on 3
different "quote boards", running 5 charts with a number of studies on them
(NOT 5 charts per stock, just 5 charts total), and 2 Level 2 screens without
any problems at all. The only time my system gets bogged down, the data
seriously delayed and the program can not keep up pace, is when I have a
number of (5 or 6) really active and VERY high volume stocks during a
trading flurry, displayed simultaneously on the quote screen, a few charts
and the Level2 screens. In times like that, I quickly remedy the situation
by closing down all the windows I'm not using at the time or just putting
inactive issues in those windows.
Let me also add that I daytrade stocks with a very short time frame (3 to 5
min. holding period) and I do my trades using the SAME computer through 4-5
browser windows that are kept open all the time in addition to PCQ. So the
whole system is pretty robust as is and would get even better with a good
cable or DSL connection.

Feel free to ask if I can be of any further help.

Regards,

Levent
