The open interest is decreasing in March futures ((s&s), which I understand
to mean that short covering is happening.  I believe that 1/8/01 was the
highest OI,  I think though that this  rally into the fed news is going to
be a sell the news kind of thing. Just an opinion though, nothing to base it
on.  That informed speculation that any rate cut is going to be .25 instead
of .5, didn't hurt stocks, thus people are buying back what they sold.
