Postal votes must be postmarked no later than the election day. It *should*
therefore be impossible to vote after the fact.

Subject: [RT] Bonds seem to be waiting...

While the Spoos appears more to have made its mind up, the Boos seem to be
awaiting the decision of the American courts as to whom the judiciary have
chosen to be the next President. Within striking distance of the CH and a
blast through to north, or near enough to join the Spoos on a sail south, it
is a real drag seeing a nine tick range all day and four ticks for the last
couple of hours... If it continues and we end with an Inside Day, at least
that offers the prospect of one of the better trading opportunities,
tomorrow...

Out of interest, can anyone explain why the postal votes are not required to
be in on the day and counted as part of the national count, once the polling
booths are closed? Does this not allow people to be 'wise after the event'
and then vote, or are there particular safeguards in place to ensure that
postal votes are treated with the same integrity as ordinary voters?
