Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment
survey. The survey was taken from 12/20 through 12/26 on the
Lowrisk.com web site.

42% bullish, 49% previous week
28% bearish, 30% previous week
31% neutral, 22% previous week
(percentages may not sum to 100 due to rounding)
The median guess for the Dow closing value on Friday, 12/31: 11,304
(it was 11,212 last week). More complete sentiment data is available

Investors grew more cautious last week even while the market rallied
sharply. Bullish sentiment fell 7% to 49%. Meanwhile bearish
sentiment dropped 2% to end at 30%. The neutral camp was the big
winner, up 9% to end at 31%. This somewhat mixed performance leaves
the sentiment picture somewhat muddled, but the big drop in bears is
surprising given the big rally last week.
