A warrant is simply an option with an issuer. So there can be limited
number of warrants outstanding and they may be difficult to borrow or
short. They are marginable, although options are about to become
marginable. They also dilute ownership so the difference in pricing is
that a warrant model has to take into account the dilution of the company.
They trade on listed and nasdaq markets. A big warrant market exists
overseas.
