MKTIntraday cumulative vol

Rt's,

I enclosed a gif. of SPX vs Intraday cumulative vol.  I have a history
back to 4/15/97... Usually after each definitive spike low volume
improves.  

Note that it did not on this most recent dip. In fact more selling came
in even though price rallied.. Not having 20 years of intraday history
to ID patterns makes it hard to make a definitive  conclusion.  But just
looking at it, it doesn't look promising.. Unless of course the selling
reaches a climax eventhough price didn't.  This was the case with the
10/28 low.

If you recall price retraced about 38% if I remember, but volume reached
a climactic low near the 10/28 low.,..
