Seems like many of the newsletter market guru's and talking heads on CNBC are
all predicting further market gains in the short-term due to good earnings. I
was just looking at an OEX chart. Since the low on 4/11, the OEX is up nearly
200 points in 3 months! How long can this rate of increase continue? Are
constant and unrelenting increases the definition of the "new paradigm" that we
are supposedly experiencing <g>?

Wouldn't it be interesting if the markets didn't rise much due to earnings?
I've heard some talk that although earnings will look good on the surface for
many, overall earnings momentum will be trending downward. Perhaps recognition
of this will provide a short term breather ::shrug::. Of course, in the end
we'll probably all just say "Who knew?".
