Jim,

Maybe try to reindex your data next. You can copy your C:\Program
files\Omega research\Server\PDS files to some other folder then delete
the files that end in .idx. Such as 00000001.idx. Then start up the
Global Server and wait for the data to reindex. Do not give up. Let
it have time to reindex. The GS comes up then just sits there until
it is reindexed and opens all the way. Nothing to lose just give it a
try and see if it fixes it up. You may still have to rebuild the
workspaces but you keep your data where you copied it to.

hi list,

need a lil help i'm afraid.
while doing a backtest, i had a error w/ TS.
it was "ts32.exe" has generated an error or similar..
i wasn't especially concerned, but after reboot and restart of TS, i found
that i couldn't plot a chart w/o error. looks like graphic error, in
that..the chart itself
appears fragmented. doesnt display properly. well, here's what i've tried.
oh, and btw..it's not limited to one workspace..all are affected.
the chart will display the current data.. but is obviously glitched.

i did ctrl+alt+z and the chart displayed properly for a bit.. then received
another error (memory type error)
i've tried creating new workspace/chart = same error
i did the "clean install" process as outlined by Jimmy S, still no change.
(during the new install..i did receive an error saying an OR.xxx file could
not be detected. sry..i should have wrote down
the specific name)

i just thought i would bounce this off you guys before i did a drastic
measure like uninstall or even format.
sorry if my description is lacking better details.
maybe someone knows this glitch?

thanks :)
