Hi Nigel -

I have a utility called QSlice.  I believe it's from an old Win NT Resource
Kit.  It lists all running processes and shows, in dynamic graphic form, the
amount of CPU time being taken by each process.  This will immediately tell
you which one is causing the problem.  I will send you the EXE file in a
separate e-mail.  I don't believe it requires installation - try just
copying it to any suitable location on a hard disk and then execute it.
