First download only daily data for the days you want.  This creates a "place 
holder" for the tick data.  Then do a second download only requesting tick 
data.  One negative with that esignal active X plug in is if you download 
minute data you don't get trade volume.  So download tick data after daily 
data and let the GS create the minute files.  There are times in the evening 
and weekend when esignal daily data appears to be unavailable.
