Just something to think about. The constituents of the SP500 over 20+ years
changed considerably. Therefore any use of this index over this period
assumes that those responsible for including/excluding companies in the
index used a good selection strategy. I'm assuming Standard & Poor's wanted
the index to represent gainers-not losers.
