Re: Free quote downloaders

I have been using hquotes, quotelf, with 2000i for about a year now. It
works fine and the data is super clean and goes back to 1970. It is a
little slow even with cable and you can only download 5,000 at one go. You
also have to wait 5 to 10 minutes before downloading the same symbol. I
have to go back and download the indices on the weekend to get volume; must
be a yahoo problem. Great for importing data for a new symbol or more data
if needed, super tool great backup for real time and the price is right.
