unemployment data

Hi all

I was thinking of someway to chart US unemployment figures. Does anyone know
anyone who does this? or supplies data for this? Maybe....i could write a
pearl/vbscript to look at different job vacancy websites , do a total of
jobs available , but then how would i make it "seasonally adjusted figures".
ofcorse this doesnt give me historical data.  Any suggestions ? Sounds
almost too hard
