Mike G had most of the answer. You make a chart, bring up the data window,
right click on the window, and select, "Send to file".

Can't remember the details, but you can save data from the Data View window
to a file. Make a chart of the symbol of interest, bring up the Data View
window, and somewhere on the system menu in that window you'll find an
option to save to file. That's one way of getting ascii data out.
