ASCII data format

Is there any way to include multiple securities in an ASCII data file?

I.E. something like:

[start file]
"Other","Date","O","H","L","C","V","OI"
AAA,09182003,123,123,123,123,123,123
BBB,09182003,123,123,123,123,123,123
[end of file]

Is there any way to read the "other" field from within Easylanguage?

I have a strategy that loads in several instruments and then
makes calculations between them, to compress all these files
into one would make sense if possible.
