Hi Roger and Indextrader,
I had checked with Andrew at Traders-Soft and his response was:

But please let me know if you guys have been successful in establishing more
than one real time access simultaneously.

Yes, I agree such a product would be valuable but at the same time would
understand if eSignal would not encourage it as it would affect their
revenue. Maybe Chuck will consider offering his users, at least two
simultaneous access with one account. I am not a IP or network guru but
here's something Chuck may wanna visit with his tech folks:
1) Is it possible to allow no more than two simultaneous active connections
to one DataManager account on a LAN, not allowing such connections via any
hop (i.e., the Internet) or VPN?
Again I am not his VP of business development, but here's something Chuck
may wanna think over: eSignal already enjoys an excellent reputation and
will adding such a feature actually disrupt or enhance his market share in
the individual traders community? Again not sure...but if it helps, he may
not allow this feature to professional or business accounts who are already
offered with a networkable professional TurboFeed product suitable for their
business needs.
So Chuck, what do you think?!...Is there a big potential for individual
traders to concentrate more making $25-50 per month by sharing their second
access that would involve having the second user to be physically present at
the LAN location (since access is not available via hop or VPN) for least
61/2 hours M-F (keeping in mind that most individual traders trade from
home..so working space and PC for the second user...giving up privacy of
one's home), rather than concentrate in their own trading ...or
Is there a big potential for eSignal to retain and even enhance its market
share with such a necessary feature???
Just a friendly suggestion.
Take care,
Romi
