Thanks for the info.

I have 4 monitors off my PC...older system

2 on matrox G400 Dual Card
1 on NIVDA PCI cards
1 on NIVDA PCI cards

Win 2000 pro
RAM 384
660 MHZ

Software running...
Qcollector
Qcharts
My Scanner ( custom built) coded in Vb6.0 (big memory usage.. a bugger with
Vb6.0)
Interactive Brokers TWS trading software
MS Explorer 5.5

I run Qcollector for 537 symbols for my Scanner and unforunately this max's out
my CPU whenever the symbol update runs (5 min intervals) and other programs
freeze until CPU becomes free. So I am about to get another PC to link the
current one (home network) to so a I have CPU usages split.

Ok you my be bored by now...but what do you recommend for a new system. It will
have at least 4 monitors. And will be the main PC (server to my older setup)

RAM how much, what type ?
Processing Power...what chip type, how much MHZ
Video Cards....????
MotherBoard....any particular type, what speed to harddrive...?
( I will stay with Win 2000 pro).

QUESTION : Why do you have 3 setups of Qcharts in three different directories
??/ Is that CPU usage...

Rgds
