data2 indicator issue

Hi,
I find that if data1 (primary data stream) has empty trading periods then
any indicator for data2 (or any subsequent data stream) also maintains these
periods as empty even if the periods are not really empty for data2.
However the OHLC bars of data2 plot regardless. I have tried
checking/unchecking the 'display empty trading periods' in View,Chart
Options, Symbols...and it doesn't make a difference.
For example, try this quick plot:
1) Plot today's 5min VIGN candlestick as data1 in subgraph1 and insert its
volume histogram (as an indicator for data1) in subgraph2.
2) Now insert today's 5min AMGN candlestick as data2 in subgraph3 and its
volume histogram in subgraph4.
More than likely you'll see some empty volume periods for AMGN(data2)
corresponding to the empty periods of VIGN(data1), even if there's OHLC for
AMGN during these periods. What's more, if you use volume (or
upticks/downticks) as an element in any of your indicators for data2, they
all become erratic in this kind of situation.
Is this a known issue and is there a solution/workaround? I use PS2Ki.
Thanks,
Romi
