John Bollinger would say that none of the ones you listed is independent
of the others because they are all based on price. He would say a truly
independent indicator should be based on something other than price:
volume, open interest, stock market breadth, price of another
uncorrelated security, etc. As there aren't many non-price categories to
choose from, it's very hard to have more than a small handful of
independent indicators on the same chart.
