Off topic - Custom notebook hardware

Hi List,

Sorry for the off topic post.

Does anyone know if there is a company that specializes in building custom
notebooks?  What I would be interested in is gutting a Macintosh Powerbook
G4 and replacing the innards with PC hardware.  A tall order I know, and I
doubt it is possible, but if anyone knows about this, I'd appreciate it.

PS I've tried PC emulators and even with those fast Mac processors, they
suck.
