problem with displaying volume using ascii data

Hi all
I have a problem trying to display volume using ascii charts.

The format of the ascii data is date,time,trade,volume and I have set up a
dop file to read this format. The chart loads correctly, but the volume
displayed shows the number of trades that occurred during the bar interval
(in this case 15 minutes) and not the volume? If I change the compression to
daily the volume is a consistent zero.
