lost functionality

It seems as if my trendline function has decided to quit working
properly.  Is it possible to re-install the file that controls
the trendline operation without re-installing the last version
of ts4.0?  If so, does anyone know the file and if it's in the
upgrades or does it live on the original cd?  tia....jackb in seattle:-)
