Sending data to a file problem

Hi,

This is probably an old questions but I want to send data from the Server to
a file that can be imported into the TS Data Manager. When I try to do that
from the edit daily feature of the  server the data ends up corrupted. Do
any of you have an idea to make it transfer correctly? I'm using TS 4.0.
