The component you refer to as the problem is the output port(A) where your
cpu is hooked up...the solder points between the port and the board inside
of the box are inherently weak, and crack with very little movement. As I
posted last week, my box refused to work,as well as BMI's tech support. Upon
opening th ebox, I found the same soldered 'fingers' as I have in other
boxes over the past 7 years, that had cracked, either due to heat or normal
handling. I took out my trusty radio shack soldering gun, fluxed it up,
sre-soldered the joints... and aaawaway it went.. no packet loss.... FWIW...
i have ordered another box...
