TS2Ki (SP5), has a major problem
for me (and others from what I've seen in the list) in that once I get
my
system operational I cannot "format analysis techniques" and change a
single parameter. It causes TS2Ki to emit serious I/O error messages
and from then on my EasyLanguage code starts gradually melting down.
If I bring up my system without making any errors and leave it alone,
TS2ki
    keeps on trucking.

I had this, I have Win2000( with SP1) intel 650mhz, ram 384.

No doubt you have done all the correctional steps, this is what I would try.

Run rambooster to check use of computer resources while live (see link),
shut down after secured results.
(Win2000 performs better than win 98 in use of Ram)

1) Increase ram to 384 or 512, use Rambooster to provide info if you need
more ram.
2) Uninstall Ts2000i including shared files when the selection comes up.(of
course back up data)
3) Delete all reference to Ts2000i from registry
4) Re boot
4) Run Easy Clean on registry, cleans all non links from registry {use at
own risk etc}
5) Re install ts2000i
6) Re install all user indicators into EL power editor
7) Verify all, it must be clean with no I/O errors or other errors
8 ) Rebuild workspaces and insert indicators, do not copy in Mywork from
back up.
9) Hope like hell all is ok.

Be careful that the unistall is complete. Re install should be completly new
setup.
make sure SP1 Win is installed.

Hmmmmm.. I run win2k SP1 with Prosuite 2000i, Voodoo3 display card, 9
workspaces, and 24 charts with 384k physical mem on a 650mhz, with lots of
free disk space, but I have Outlook, Excel, IRC, Netscape Browser,
PowerEditor and several others resident/tray progs(getright, createcd,
adfilter, web capture, norton antivirus corporate edition) running
simultaneously without any problem, so my suspicion is that there is an
interaction issue with some programs.

warmest regards,
Kimberly
