I bought an etherfast in the beginning of the summer. It would not
consistently hold a connection with my pppoe dsl provider. After jacking
around with various beta firmware patches for several weeks, with little/no
help from their tech support, I punted. It makes a great blue network hub!
I know it works great for some, but unless they have gotten their act
together it is not perfect for pppoe.

I have been very happy with black ice.
