You are correct about the limitations of UMDS DDE. However, the Software 
Development Kit allows extremely fast access to all collected symbols 
(which is everything transmitted). I would have to assume that TWX 
interfaces that way.

In my own C++ code, I have no problems grabbing every tick on about 700 
very active issues. And there's loads of time left over.
