Re: Excelsior Elliot Wave - Beta Test

I spent a great deal of time with their original program. The approach is
good, however where I got hung up was in their wave counts. There were
situations where very obvious, (and later proved correct) wave counts did
not even appear in the list of possibilities. I talked for a while with the
proprietor about this and he refused to acknowledge that some Elliott logic
was missed in his programming. Unfortunatel, I bought the program before I
worked through all this. Anyone want to make me an offer on a security
block?

The other thing I recall is that the thing is very, very slow. While it
theoretically would work on real time data, I did not even try given this.
This was with a PII 400. Even with today's computers, I would guess it to
be too slow with TS2000 on the same machine.

My experience was in early 1999. Perhaps things have changed. I would hope
so as the basics of the program were interesting. But that doesn't matter
if the wave counts are wrong.

Regards,
Chris
