I received many mails about this post, asking questions. This mail is to
answer them.

Since my post, I purchased the book and found the ela:

This approach has proved to be a wonderful timing tool. I am a daytrader
(S&P, Bonds) and have already integrated some of Al Gietzen's (the author of
Advanced Cycle Trading) ideas into my trading.

I think that anyone trading anything in any timeframe would find use for
this approach. The idea of cycles is very old but Gietzen's way of
identifying and utilising opportunities is very new. I have been looking for
something like this to fill a gap in my analysis. Wolfewaves were one of the
things I looked at and was quite disappointed that I could not make better
use of that idea. I must say that I did not take Mr Wolfe's course (@$3k). I
found difficult in identifying an objective starting point for the count.
