This phenomenon appeared, if I remember correctly, with the introduction
of TS4 build 19. I called attention to it in a post to this list, I believe,
back
in early 1997.

The charts rescale into a reduced size window when you hit Alt-x (x= 1
through 8). It seems to me that you experience this phenomenon when you
accidentally hit 1 instead of Esc.

An employee of Omega responded to my post privately, indicating that
this was an undocumented but deliberate feature that Omega was planning
to introduce officially in one of its future releases. He told me over the
phone
that he was going to send me a procedure, involving the alteration of an ini.
file, that would enable the switching between the reduced and full size.
However, he has not done it and I have never pressed him for it.

Until Omega provides such procedure, you will have to watch your
fingers.
