For a couple of years now i have used Dial data but over the last few
months there have been more instances of obviously bad data (Low = 0 or
High much larger than reasonable) totaling about 3 errors/week on downloads
of about 400 stocks/day. This leaves me suspicious of the other data that
is not "Obviously" bad. I recently switched to Telescan - one week now -
and there has not been any reason so far to suspect any of the data.
One small thing i miss is the convenience of getting the data via the
Internet, but accuracy is more important than convenience.
As for the CD ROM of dial data historical quotes - that has not worked for
me for a long time now. I suspect that the CD came w/TS4 is old and Omega
has some planned obsolescence scheme to require subscription to the
quarterly service, which I have not done.
