Changing the U.S. Bonds Project A Electronic Trading System Overnight Session
Times

Due to the elimination of the open outcry evening session, the CBOT is changing
the times for the Project A overnight electronic trading system. The pit-traded
day session and the Project A afternoon session times will remain the same.
These changes are effective Sunday, February 1, 1998.

1. In the Server, use the TOOLS - SYMBOL UNIVERSE SETUP menu sequence.
2. BMI Bonneville and DBC Signal users: Select the Category FUTURE.
S&P Comstock users: Select the Category INDEX.
3. For Exchange, select ALL EXCHANGES.
4. BMI Bonneville users: In the Search For edit box, type US.
DBC Signal users: In the Search For edit box, type WS.
S&P Comstock users: In the Search For edit box, type the symbol for the specific
contract (i.e. USC8), not the symbol root.
5. Click the FIND button. This will locate the symbol.
6. Click EDIT SYMBOL. This will open the Symbol Universe Settings dialog box.
7. BMI Bonneville users: Set the Session 1 times from 7:20am to 2:00pm and
check Monday through Friday. Set the Session 2 times from 2:30pm to 6:45am and
check Sunday through Thursday.
DBC Signal and S&P Comstock users: Set the Session 1 times from 2:30pm to 6:45am
and check Sunday through Thursday.
8. Click OK, close the Symbol Universe Setup dialog box.
All of the U.S. Bond contracts will be updated with the new times (S&P Comstock
users will have to repeat these changes for each GLOBEX contract symbol). The
charts based on these symbols will also automatically be updated.
Note: Due to the fact that you cannot specify three session times, there will
be a small gap in the U.S. Bond charts between 4:30pm and 5:55pm (due to the
break between sessions). You can eliminate this gap by using the TOOLS – OPTIONS
- PRICE DATA menu sequence in TradeStation or SuperCharts and clearing the Show
empty intraday trading periods check box.
