My opinion, that is. I have read all the repartee concerning the
complaints and praises
of Omega. I have found much of value on both sides of the discussion
and consider the
free exchange of uncensored opinions pro and con to be vital to my own
decisions.
I do object to the veiled personal attacks and snide remarks, for they
waste all of
our time, add nothing to the debate, and demean both the victim and the
attacker.
With that one exception, I say let the discussion/debate/argument
continue.

For my part of the roundtable, I have to admit to newbie status. I do
not have the
basic understanding yet of all the preprogrammed indicators so writing
my own is a
ways off. Obviously then I have no gripe with EL or power editor since
I don't
touch either. The other main issue seems to be the symbol universe and
bad tick
data re: BMI Signal etc. I use Futuresource which edits its own bad
ticks usually
and the occasional edit I must do is pretty simple. Never had a problem
changing
or updating symbols either. I must either be very lucky or I actually
am as simple
minded as my wife seems to think I am.

In closing, since I use TS 4 only for its real time charting and
analysis capabilites, as
well as its Alert functions. It seems eminently well designed and
reliable in these
areas.

BE ADVISED HOWEVER - if somebody turns me on to a better, cheaper,
quicker
easier way to make a buck as a trader, the door will not hit me in the
ass on the way
outa here.

Good trading, all.
