Apached, Here is info from 2/7/03 EquisMetaStock Group about verification but didn't pertain to installation on new computer. Don't know if this will work in your case.

1.Start MetaStock, wait until you see the CD check verification screen.

2. Hold down the SHIFT key.

3. With the SHIFT key held down insert your MetaStock CD.

4. Keep the SHIFT key down until you hear no further activity from the CD-rom drive.

5. Click OK to verify.

Have just upgraded to a new computer with Windows 7. Metastock 11 which was purchased in Sept 09 and running on the old computer, will not install on the new computer. It opens as a 30 day trial version. It asks for activation, but the original SetupKey and supplied Activation Key do not work and the activation is unsuccessfull.
Wondering if anyone has had similar experience and how this problem can be resolved.
