I have never run into this.  Maybe a new feature with v11.  I am on v10.  I have always just used the original key with no problems.

You have to deactivate from your old computer, Metastock only allows it to be run from 2 computers.

Have just upgraded to a new computer with Windows 7. Metastock 11 which was purchased in Sept 09 and running on the old computer, will not install on the new computer. It opens as a 30 day trial version. It asks for activation, but the original SetupKey and supplied Activation Key do not work and the activation is unsuccessfull.
Wondering if anyone has had similar experience and how this problem can be resolved.
