Eric,

To do so would assume a very orderly market. 

You may find some correlation to a cycle (maybe lunar) but in the 
long term I don't believe the correlation would be as strong.

This might work in commodities or heavily optioned markets but I 
would question the reliability.

BD should be half of BF.
