[EquisMetaStock Group] Re: How to create custom formula which prompts for security input

Preston,

Thank you so much for your time and effor. What I'm trying to
accomplish is something like the following:

I have developed few custom indicators whose value is derived from
multiple securities.

For eg: A formula which looks for % of Stocks within a group which
are above, say, 50-bar average. (here i as advised by another
member, i have used the "forum.sum" function so that the plot
history as far back as possible, otherwise the plot's earliest date
will be the start of the security which has the most recent start
date).

(ExtFml("Forum.Sum", Security("70994270
",C) ,1)>ExtFml("Forum.Sum", Security("70994270
",Mov(C,Period,S) ),1))+

(ExtFml("Forum.Sum", Security("70994045
",C) ,1)>ExtFml("Forum.Sum", Security("70994045
",Mov(C,Period,S) ),1))+

Likewise, I keep adding each security into the code to get the final
plot. I'm trying looking for a solution for multiple security
selection. Lets say, the plotting of indicator asks me to select
securities and I select 50 securities and the plot is created. Also,
if I can apply it on a "list" rather than selecting one by one.

I'm also on the looking out for someone who can give me a plugin
which will do the job.

Thanks.
