My recollection is that MetaStock 6.52 predates Windows XP, so perhaps
it's a compatibility issue.

Try right clicking on the MetaStock 6.52 icon in the Start menu,
select Properties and go to the Compatibility tab.  Click the "Run
this program in compatibility mode for:" box and select Windows 2000
or perhaps Windows 98 from the pulldown menu. Click OK and try
restarting MetStock 6.52.

Hi all,

I installed Metastock 6.52 on a Windows XP SP2 system. All the setup 
performs normally but when I try to open a file the program just quits 
immediatelly. Do you know if there's a solution to this specific 
problem ?
