Have you tried complaining to Equis? It seems to me that if they're getting a large part of their business from Equis' endorsement, perhaps Equis themselves should be made aware that they're dealing with a disreputable company. And tell trendmedium your intentions to do so. They may react slightly differently if they feel that their business might be affected by your actions.
Just a thought.
