I do few days ago a comparative, between
metatock an a famous software called Visualchart ( www.agmercados.com ). Is a good free
software that the spanish people used it a lot off.
The fact, is that I get for my study our
index IBEX35, whit the same period, and the same data and the same system to
tester a system and see what of this softwares was better.
For this probe I get a cross moving
average, and I put to work the same system in the two different
softs.
The fact was a disaster. Some things good
for metastock like the finish result, and bad in the number of operations, and
inverserly for visual.
If you ( or anyone ) are interesting
in this study, is in spanish, but easyli to understand I will be delighted to
send you a copy.
I think that you sould use two or more
softs to tester your systems and when you found one of them that like it, Make
it a small probe whit your pencil and paper.
