Many programs overstate the use of optimization in developing
systems.
New users of TA first think that one system will work for all
assets,they assume that they will get all of the trade every time.
Systems may work on one asset, but you will get very different
results on another.
New users don't use stops, or they misuse them.
New users have a difficult time trying to code their systems into
the software.
A Pro can give away a perfectly good system to a new trader and the
two will get different results.
Some systems are designed for certain time frames and unless you
realize the strengths and weaknesses of it you are doomed to losses
