When I bought it a few years ago:

US$299 for the read only.

 

No idea on the read-write version - although I have heard that they pretty much reject all applications for it.  The only difference between the read-write and the read version is that the read-write allows you to write Metastock DAT/MWD files via a library.

 

You can still create custom indicators etc (DLLs) using the Read only version.
