We wouldn't be on this site using MS if we didn't like it. You can 
find critics of any software. How are we suppose to know if you're 
going to like it! Metastock is a TA program. You have to figure out 
how to trade with it. It's not open the box and start making money. 
With 95% of the people who try to trade using TA losing money, it is 
obvious that MS and the other programs don't spell instant success. 

There's a long learning curve. To learn to trade consistently and 
profitabilty takes several years. Buckle up. 

There is no simulation function. You can paper trade without one. I 
paper trade all of my new systems for several months to a year before 
trading them live. You can buy simulation systems separately. Use 
your search function to find some, if you feel you'll need them.
